The first thing I noticed about the dress is the quality of the material. It's a really heavy, really well made garment. I love the way it was quite flowy on the bottom - it felt very luxurious. The material is also very smooth. I was worried it might be a bit clingy on my stomach, but this was not the case. It smoothed over my stomach and gave me a nice, smooth silhouette.
I ordered this in a size 20, and I would say it fit true to size. I am normally a 20-22, so I went with a size 20 as the material has stretch.
I teamed it up with a light wash denim jacket (as it was a bit chilly out) and some black wedges and a black belt. I think it would look really good with some sandals as well, and maybe some chunky gold jewellery.
Overall, I was really impressed with this dress! The colour was vibrant, which is perfect for this seasons colour blocking trend, the fit was perfect and the material was heavy without being too heavy. You could also dress this up or down...It would be perfect over a bikini at the beach or by the pool, and can easily be dressed up with some accessories and a clutch to take you into the evening. (Therefore saving more space in your suitcase!)
OneStopPlus is stock a very wide range of plus size fashion from all over the world. I was really excited to see that they stock the 'Big Beauty' range that Stephanie from Le blog de big beauty designed for La Redoute, and they also stock Carmakoma too. OneStopPlus initially made fashion history with the first plus size catwalk fashion show to coincide with New York fashion week in September 2010. (Which you can read about here)
My favourite piece from the Big Beauty range is this beautiful dress:
I also fell in love with this from Carmakoma:
